“I’ve grown old waiting for the promised global warming”

Global Warming: Was It Just A Beautiful Dream After All?

So where’s the warming? Where are the gondolas pulling up to the Capitol? Where are the encroaching seas in Florida? Or anywhere? Where is the climate change which, for 33 years, has been just around the corner?

A generation and a half into climate change, née global warming, you can’t point to a single place on earth where the weather is noticeably different from what it was in 1979. Or 1879, for that matter.

… maybe it was a huge left wing conspiracy…

Sorry, yes, I see that it’s a link now.

I know Rush Limbaugh thinks that science has a left wing bias, but I don’t believe that’s how it works, necessarily.

Some people on the right don’t like the scientific consensus regarding AGW and choose not to believe it, or they doubt evolution, just as those on the left sometimes distrust modern medicine, GMO, and whatever they consider “unnatural”.
Science has a huge body of evidence for each of these things, that is, of course, doubted because of either the “Green Lobby”, “Big Pharma”, secular socialism, or whatever, even though any evidence supporting these theories does not stand up to much critical evaluation.

I’m happy that you question sources. Perhaps you should consider whether wattsupwiththat, the daily mail or notrickzone may also be considered reliable, unbiased sources, or are they perhaps interested in promoting a particular worldview.

If you’re interested in widening your view of climate science, may I suggest you take a look at what working climate scientists are saying about this complex issue on this site
