Thomas Mulcair – Collectivist Wildcatter

24 Sep

Angry Tom Mulcair, career socialist lawyer politician from Montreal knows what it takes to make Alberta’s oil industry successful… central planning…

The Canadian economy needs a better balance among manufacturing, the service sector and primary industries like oilsands mining and policies that encourage value-added jobs in all provinces, said Mulcair, noting that Ontario has lost 500,000 manufacturing jobs in recent years.

“What we are talking about is re-establishing the balanced economy that Canada had painstakingly built up since the Second World War,” said Mulcair. “We don’t think one has to be sacrificed for the other.”

Forget about market forces, supply and demand, and private risk – the NDP has a “plan to balance” the economy…

The New Democratic Party believes that social, economic and political progress in Canada can only be assured by the application of democratic socialist principles to government and the administration of public affairs.
The principles of democratic socialism can be defined briefly as follows: a) the production and distribution of goods and services shall be directed to meeting the social and individual needs of people and not for profit, b) the modification and control of the operations of monopolistic productive and distributive organizations through economic and social planning, towards these ends, and c) where necessary, the extension of the principle of social ownership.

NDP MP seeks public’s help with legal bills in robo-calls case

Pat Martin – one of Canada’s National Socialist Party’s most experienced, yet most foolish MPs, jumped to a predictably foolish conclusion, managed to defame and libel a private company over a mythical, media concocted “scandal”.

Now he is asking his “supporters” to foot the bill…

I predict that RackNine will become the Conservative Party’s Groupaction, and I predict that we will find that the sheer magnitude and audacity of the ‘ RackNine rascals’ will be enough to make Richard Nixon blush,” Mr. Martin said in February.

But Elections Canada has said RackNine is not under investigation and Mr. Meier has co-operated extensively with the watchdog to help track down the culprit, saying he had no idea his dialing equipment was being misused.

RackNine served notice it would sue.

BC Blue: One BC Conservative's view on it all...

NDP political organizer Ibata Noric Hexamer plead guilty to six charges relating to the knifepoint sexual assaults of four young girls (14, 14, 13 and 6) in BC court today (see here).

Besides being the former database manager for the federal NDP, Hexamer was the personal assistant to the NDP-related Vancouver civic political party COPE councillors Tim Louis, Ellen Woodsworth, Tim Stevenson, and Dr. Fred Bass. This guy was a very deep NDP insider and no casual volunteer by any means.

A few questions came up today that the media report didn’t cover:

– when was he hired and who did the hiring?

– what was the vetting process with his hiring?

– were these girls in the NDP database and did he use that information to target them?

The police looked into all this though right?

For the First Time, Canadians Now Richer Than Americans

18 Jul

But we didn’t build that – somebody else made that happen

“Currently, the average Canadian household is more than $40,000 richer than the average American household. The net worth of the average Canadian household in 2011 was $363,202, compared to around $320,000 for Americans.”

Besides a strengthening currency and a better labor market, experts credit the particularly savage fallout from the financial crisis on the U.S. economy and housing market, which torpedoed home values and gutted household wealth. According to the report, real estate held by Canadians is worth more than $140,000 more on average and they have almost four times as much equity in their real estate investments.

That’s mental image of Mulcair no one needs…

Mr. Mulcair arrives wearing checkered blue shirt, black boots, jeans and a good-quality felt cowboy hat of indeterminate whiteness. He starts by repeating his opposition to Northern Gateway. “The recent blame [of] Enbridge by the highest levels of the American government would give anyone looking at that project pause.”

Thomas can’t wait to regulate the Stampede too …
