If women ran the world, we’d still be living in the trees…

Intuition is thinking without thinking…And Women are really good at….

Not Thinking?….

A pioneering study has shown for the first time that the brains of men and women are wired up differently which could explain some of the stereotypical differences in male and female behaviour, scientists have said.

“These maps show us a stark difference – and complementarity – in the architecture of the human brain that helps to provide a potential neural basis as to why men excel at certain tasks, and women at others,” said Ragini Verma, professor of radiology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

Because the female connections link the left hemisphere, which is associated with logical thinking, with the right, which is linked with intuition, this could help to explain why women tend to do better than men at intuitive tasks, she added.

Intuition is thinking without thinking. It’s what people call gut feelings. Women tend to be better than men at these kinds of skill which are linked with being good mothers,” Professor Verma said.

Men are Logical, Women are Emotional… who knew.

Just how credible are these climate models?

6 Nov

They’re Not

In other words, over the past third of a century—the period with the greatest amount of anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions—the behavior of the real world (i.e., reality) falls far below the average expectation of climate models and, in fact, is clearly inconsistent with the range of model results. Less than 2.5 percent of model runs show that global warming is really global luke warming to the degree that real-world observations indicate.

Basically, the models don’t work.

This reality ought to be enough to stop the anti-fossil fuel (via carbon dioxide emission restrictions) crusaders in their tracks.

But it won’t…

It’s That Most of What They Know is Wrong…

The assumption of these feminists is that female, working-class, and black and minority-ethnic students will feel out of place in such an educational environment.

This means there is little opportunity, or expectation, that students misunderstandings will be corrected: indeed ‘misunderstandings’ cannot actually occur if everyone is expressing the truth as it is to them.

Now, however, many feminists promote the idea that there is no body of knowledge worth learning. Higher education is merely about students engaged in personal projects of transformation and recognising their own privileges and limitations as they share experiences

Yet they still want the vote…

“So some point, the government will run out of money…”

22 Aug

Wait…What?

Mr. Obama said the government and colleges have been in a type of arms race in recent years, with the government boosting its contributions and schools raising their prices.

“So some point, the government will run out of money, which means more and more costs are being loaded on to students and their families,” the president said.

As Obama calls for greater funding??

It’s Not That Liberals Are Stupid…

13 Aug

It’s that everything they know is wrong…

…it is self-styled intellectuals, especially the ones who refer to themselves as ‘liberal’, who use such pseudo-scientific tactics to pathologise their opponents as a mentally and intellectually inferior political species. And there is barely any dissent from this view…

…it is the conviction that most human beings have the potential to grasp the issues facing their communities that underpins the ideals of democratic politics and popular sovereignty. The real problem today is not stupid conservatives, but people liberals with multiple university degrees who ‘don’t get’ what it truly means to be an intellectual.

Perhaps it is because they are wrong…

Racist Islamophobic Michigan state rep accuses Arab-American leader of sexual harassment

She described Hamad’s advances as “aggressive.”

“He made references to my breasts, played with my hair when I was on the phone, and made sexual comments throughout the day,” she wrote. “This is why I only worked at ADC Michigan for five months.”

Tlaib said in an interview on Saturday that she decided to write the letter after seeing a photo on Facebook of Hamad with three female summer interns.

Imad Hamad postes with summer interns in photo he posted May 29 on his personal Facebook page

Tlaib claims that Hamad’s harassment consisted of aggressive groping, stroking of hair, rubbing his body against women, trying to kiss them, commenting in suggestive ways on women’s body parts, paddling women and pressuring women to sleep with him.

Here’s a shocking tidbit…

According to one website, Hamad came to the U.S. on a student visa and violated it and has been the subject of numerous FBI terror investigations.

If you won’t identify the problem, you can’t solve it…

I choose Pamela Geller….

Because the cops and Rabbis sold out a long time ago….

The TBR, which represents rabbis from all denominations of Judaism, wishes to make clear to all that it finds the invitation distasteful, just as it finds Ms. Geller’s views distasteful. We dissociate ourselves from the actions of the radical fringe Jewish group that extended the invitation. We call for more events here in Toronto that will build up friendship and understanding between local Jews and Muslims.

There’s only one understanding between Muslims and Jews….

Gun homicides, violence down sharply in past 20 years

Gun-related homicides and crime are “strikingly” down from 20 years ago, despite the American public’s belief that firearm crime is on the upswing, a new study said Wednesday.

Looking back 50 years, a Pew Research Center study found U.S. gun homicides rose in the 1960s, gained in the 1970s, peaked in the 1980s and the early 1990s, and then plunged and leveled out the past 20 years.

“Despite national attention to the issue of firearm violence, most Americans are unaware that gun crime is lower today than it was two decades ago,” the researchers say.
